Fried Rice is a type of dish you can cook using the upgraded Kitchen in Spiritfarer. This recipe combines 1 bag of rice and any kind of fat into an easy-to-make dish.

What You Need

Here’s everything you need to make this dish:

Improved Kitchen
1 Rice
1 Fat (Any Kind)

To get the kitchen improvement blueprint, follow Atul’s storyline until you get the “Big Stove” request. He will automatically hand you the blueprint for the upgrade here.

Where To Get Rice

Rice is grown in the Field.

Go to your World Map and sail towards the island of Furogawa (X: -150, Y:67).

Here you’ll find a Raccoon Shop branch that sells rice seeds for 70 Glims each. Purchase as many as you need.

Then plant the rice seeds in your Field and water regularly until you can harvest them.

Note that if you have any unfed sheep in the boat, they will often go into your Field and eat any crops. Additionally, playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame will help any crop grow faster.

Where To Get Fats

Making Sunflower Oil in the Crusher.

For fat, you can pick between two choices:

Olive Oil (Made from Olives)
Sunflower Oil (Made from Sunflowers)

Both of the original plants are grown from seeds, and you can get seeds from these locations:

Olive Seeds (2,120 Glims, Edgeborough Shop)
Sunflower Seeds (140 Glims, Nordweiler Shop)

Just plant the seeds in your Garden and either regularly water or play the same “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame to grow them faster.

Once the plants are harvested, take them to the Crusher to make fat. You can crush up to five of the same plant at once, and all you need to do is continuously press a single button until fat appears.

How To Cook Fried Rice

Simply take your rice and choice of fat to the kitchen oven to start cooking. After confirming your ingredients, a timer will appear to indicate how long the waiting time is.

Note that each cooked dish should be taken out of the oven immediately when the timer ends, otherwise it can end up burning.

With Fried Rice being a plain dish, you can give it to these spirits:

Astrid

Or if you wish, you can sell Fried Rice to Raccoon Shops for 300 Glims each.
