Fried Surf is a pub-type food in Spiritfarer. The ingredients you need for this dish are any type of shellfish and any type of fat.

How To Get Shellfish

If there aren’t shellfish on your ship, sail around until you find some.

There are a few kinds of shellfish in Spiritfarer, which include:

Clam
Common Mussel
Hard-Shell Clam
Oyster
Urchin

All of these can be found sticking onto the hull of your ship. Just jump into the water and interact with any you find.

If there aren’t any stuck to your ship, then simply sail around for a bit in the waters until you find them.

Alternatively, some floating crates in the water also contain shellfish from time to time.

How To Get Fats

Using the Crusher is very simple.

As an ingredient category, there are two kinds of Fat in Spiritfarer:

Olive Oil (Made from Olives)
Sunflower Oil (Made from Sunflowers)

You can pick from any of these two, and the seeds for the plants you need for each type of fat can be purchased from the Raccoon stores on these islands:

Olive Seeds (2,120 Glims, Edgeborough Shop)
Sunflower Seeds (140 Glims, Nordweiler Shop)

Plant these seeds in the Garden until they’re ready to be picked. Playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” music minigame also lets you grow your plants faster.

Then once they’re fully grown, take these plants to the Crusher and grind them into fat. This is a simple process that requires pressing a single button until the Fat comes out.

How To Cook Fried Surf

Finally, take your Fat and Shellfish to the Kitchen oven and confirm the ingredients. A timer will start counting down, and the dish will be ready right after the timer finishes (once smoke starts coming out of the kitchen).
