Laksa is a regular-sized exotic soup in Spiritfarer. For ingredients, it just uses fireglow and rice flour. It’s also the spirit Beverly’s favorite food.

What You Need

To make this exotic soup, you will need three things:

  • The Improved Kitchen
  • 1 Fireglow
  • 1 Rice Flour

For the Improved Kitchen, you can get the blueprint from Atul in his “Big Stove” request. This improvement lets you make dishes that have two ingredients.

Where To Get Fireglow

First, go to Furogawa and find the spirit Gustav to get him onto your ship.

Once he’s on the boat, follow and complete his requests until he introduces you to the Firefly event. Here are all of the locations for this event:

  • X: -98, Y: 98
  • X: 114, Y: -45
  • X: 236, Y: -49

This event will give you Fireglow seeds, which can then be planted in the Field until you can harvest them as crops.

Where To Get Rice Flour

For Rice Flour you’ll need to head back to the island of Furogawa and purchase rice seeds from the Racoon Shop there. These seeds are sold for 70 Glims each.

Note: You can also find a full list of all the seeds in this game in our Raccoon Shop guide.

Then go back to your ship and plant the seeds in the Garden until you can harvest them. Alternatively, you can cut down the waiting time by playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” music minigame.

Then take your rice to the Windmill to make flour. Here’s how the Windmill minigame works:

  1. Go to the mid-level and interact with the compartment to input rice.
  2. Head to the top floor and align the square column with the small wheel to get it spinning.
  3. As the windmill wheel starts moving, adjust the square column so it’s always aligned with the little wheel.
  4. Get your rice flour at the windmill’s bottom compartment.

If you don’t have a Windmill yet, we created a step-by-step guide on the exact materials needed to build it on your ship.

How To Cook Laksa

Once you have all of your ingredients, go to the kitchen oven to start the cooking process. After confirming both the rice flour and fireglow as ingredients, a timer will appear, and the dish will be ready once the timer finishes counting down.

When it’s ready, you can give Laksa to these spirits:

  • Astrid
  • Atul
  • Elena
  • Beverly (Favorite Food)

Since it’s Beverly’s favorite food, giving it to her significantly boosts her mood and happiness, leading to a number of perks around the ship. On top of that, you can also sell this dish to Raccoon Shops for 275 Glims.
