Milquetoast is a type of plain breakfast food that you can easily make in Spiritfarer. It only needs Corn Flour and Milk as the ingredients.

What You Need

In order to make Milquetoast, you will need these:

The Improved Kitchen
1 Corn Flour
1 Milk

To upgrade your kitchen, follow Atul’s questline until you get the “Big Stove” request. Here, he will give you the blueprint for the improvement, which allows you to make dishes with two ingredients.

How To Get Corn Flour

Corn Flour can also be made in the Crusher.

Start by heading towards the Hummingberg Raccoon Shop and purchase Corn seeds from there. Each bag of seeds will only cost you 50 Glims.

Then plant these seeds in the Field and water until they’re ready to be harvested. Of course, the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame outlined in our guide for the Field will help you grow any crop faster.

Next, take your seeds to either the Crusher or Windmill for grinding.

With the Crusher, you only need to press a single button until Corn Flour comes out.

But if you don’t have that building yet, you can opt for the Windmill. Here’s how to use that building:

Take your corn to the mid-level compartment.
Interact with the square column and align it with the small wheel.
Once the wheel starts spinning, periodically adjust the column to keep it aligned.
Once done, you can get your corn flour from the bottom compartment.

How To Get Milk

Milking a cow gives 3 Milks everytime.

For Milk, you will need to first purchase the Master Blueprint Station from Albert’s Shipyard. A full list of the requirements you need for this upgrade can be found in our complete Blueprint Station guide.

This specific upgrade unlocks the Cow Stall building.

Building the Cow Stall automatically gives you a cow inside, and you can get milk by interacting with it. Milking the cow produces 3 milks every time, and you will need to feed it with grains, fruits, and vegetables to repeat the process after a while.

How To Cook Milquetoast

Making milquetoast.

Take your corn flour and milk in the kitchen to make Milquetoast.

Put it into the oven and a timer will appear. This recipe shouldn’t take long, and the dish will be ready once the timer finishes counting down.

If you’re outside the kitchen, there will also be an indicator and smoke coming out of the building.
