Paella is one of the exotic dishes you can whip up in Spiritfarer. Since this dish uses two ingredients (Shellfish and Grain), it requires an upgraded kitchen before you can cook it.

What You Need

  • Shellfish (Any Type)
  • Grain (Any Type)
  • Upgraded Kitchen

You can upgrade your kitchen from the improvement given by Atul during his “Big Stove” request.

Where To Get Shellfish

Shellfish is easily found on the hull of your ship. / Spiritfarer
Shellfish is easily found on the hull of your ship.

For the shellfish, you can find them sticking on the hull of your ship (as pictured above).

Your options for shellfish include:

  • Clams
  • Common Mussels
  • Hard-shell Clams
  • Oysters

Certain variants can also be found in certain locations, but any type of shellfish you find will do for this dish. Simply jump from your ship and interact with the ones that are sticking on your ship hull.

Where To Get Grains

Grains are planted on the Field. / Spiritfarer
Grains are planted on the Field.

As for grains, you’ll have to grow those yourself.

There are three kinds of grain seeds you can buy from Raccoon Inc. shops:

  • Corn Seeds (50 Glims each, Hummingberg shop)
  • Rice Seeds (70 Glims each, Furogawa shop)
  • Wheat Seeds (Oxbury shop)

After purchasing, just plant these seeds in the Field and water regularly until they’re ready to be harvested.

How To Cook Paella

Paella requires two ingredients: shellfish and grain. / Spiritfarer
Paella requires two ingredients: shellfish and grain.

Once you have both ingredients, head inside your improved Kitchen and put them in the oven.

Then simply wait for the timer to run out to get your Paella. Make sure you don’t leave the dish in the kitchen for too long as well, as you’ll instead get burnt food that no one can eat.

Paella can be fed to these spirits:

  • Atul
  • Gustav

This dish can also be sold to Raccoon shop locations for 60 Glims apiece.
