Pancakes are a breakfast dish in Spiritfarer that uses 1 bag of flour and 1 egg as ingredients. Alternatively, you can find the recipe for this dish in one of the chests found at Bottom Line Corp., though that is completely optional & it’s often easier to cook it.

What You Need

In order to make this breakfast dish, you will need to have:

  • The Improved Kitchen
  • 1 Flour (Any Type)
  • 1 Egg

You can improve the kitchen via Atul’s “Big Stove” request, which lets you make dishes with two ingredients.

Where To Get Flour

Strong winds from a storm will help the Windmill make flour faster / Spiritfarer
Strong winds from a storm will help the Windmill make flour faster.

There are three types of grain available in the game, and all of them can be turned into flour.

You can purchase the seeds to grow each grain in these locations:

  • Rice Seeds (70 Glims, Furogawa Shop)
  • Wheat Seeds (100 Glims, Oxbury Shop)
  • Corn Seeds (50 Glims, Hummingberg Shop)

After purchasing, plant the seeds in your Field and regularly water until you can harvest them. The “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame is handy here, as it helps speed up the growing process.

Once grown, take your crops to the Windmill to make flour. The process goes like this:

  1. Input your crops in the compartment right beside the door.
  2. Make the small wheel at the top floor spin by aligning the square column beside it.
  3. Keep the wheel spinning by adjusting the column accordingly.
  4. Collect your flour from the Windmill’s bottom flour once the minigame finishes.

Where To Get Eggs

You can get eggs in Spiritfarer via two ways:

  • Buying them directly from the Raccoon Shop in Oxbury
  • Getting them from Chicken Coops
Method #1: Buying Eggs

For the first option, head toward Albert’s Shipyard and upgrade your ship with the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement in case you don’t have it yet.

You can get a detailed breakdown of the requirements for this upgrade in our Boat Improvement Guide.

Once you have the upgrade, visit the island of Oxbury and purchase eggs from the Raccoon Shop there for 440 Glims apiece.

Method #2: Getting Eggs with the Chicken Coop
You can only hatch one egg inside the Chicken Coop incubator at a time / Spiritfarer
You can only hatch one egg inside the Chicken Coop incubator at a time.

For easier access to eggs in the future, you can hatch the ones you bought, instead of needing to always buy more from the Raccoon Inc. shop.

To hatch your own chickens, upgrade your blueprint station to the Expert level via Albert’s Shipyard. We have a full Blueprint Station upgrade guide listing all the required materials.

This upgrade unlocks the Chicken Coop, and we also have a separate guide teaching you how to build that on the ship.

Once you have the Chicken Coop, place the eggs (you can only put one at a time) inside the incubator and place seeds in the Feeder outside. After a couple of in-game days, the egg will hatch into a chick.

When regularly fed, this chick will then grow into an egg-laying chicken for you.

Note: Each Chicken Coop can house up to six egg-laying chickens.

How To Cook Pancakes

Once you have both ingredients, take them to the kitchen oven and confirm.

A timer will pop up indicating how long you need to wait, and the breakfast dish will be ready right after the timer completes. Just make sure you don’t leave it cooking inside the oven for too long, or you will get burnt food.

Once they’re fully cooked, you can serve Pancakes to:

  • Atul
  • Astrid
  • Stanley
  • Elena

You can also sell this dish to Raccoon Shops for a good 360 Glims apiece.
