Shellfish Stew is a type of old-fashioned dish that you can make in Spiritfarer. It requires shellfish and either a savory veggie or a piece of mushroom.
What You Need
- The Improved Kitchen
- Shellfish (Any Type)
- Savory Veggie (Any Type) or Mushroom
Since the kitchen is a primary building introduced at the tutorial, you should already have one.
Meanwhile, the improved kitchen blueprint is given to you by Atul during his “Big Stove” request.
How To Get Shellfish
Different types of shellfish are immediately available sticking at the side of your ship. These include:
- Clams
- Common Mussels
- Hard-Shell Clams
- Oysters
You can easily get them by jumping in the water and interacting with the ones you can reach.
Alternatively, you can also fish for them if you want even more.
How To Get Savory Veggies
If you’d like to use vegetables for this dish, you can choose from a variety of savory veggie seeds from select Raccoon Shops.
Your options are:
- Garlic Seeds (180 Glims, Greymist Peaks shop)
- Olive Seeds (2,120 Glims, Edgeborough Lane shop)
- Onion Seeds (250 Glims, Greymist Peaks shop)
- Tomato Seeds (200 Glims, Greymist Peaks shop)
Just plant the seeds in your garden and water until they’re ready to be harvested. The song “Plantastia Fantastica” can also help you speed up this process.
How To Get Mushrooms (Optional)
If you don’t want to wait for plants to grow, you can also just opt for a mushroom instead of a veggie.
You can purchase mushrooms in Raccoon Shops, but the quicker path would be to pick them from these locations:
- 1 Mushroom at Gurenu Fields
- 2 Mushrooms at Iwashima Countryside
- 1 Mushroom at Resuteno Meadows
How To Cook Shellfish Stew
Once you have your ingredients, head to your improved kitchen and put the ingredients in the oven.
Then wait for them to cook, indicated by the timer running out. Different dishes have different cooking times, and it’s important to note that leaving any dish cooking for too long will lead to inedible burnt food.
Once cooked, Shellfish Stew can be fed to:
- Atul
- Alice
- Buck
- Beverly
Or you can also sell this dish to Raccoon branches for 110 Glims each.
