Villa Maggiore is an island found in Spiritfarer’s Hummingberg Region. It’s also the location of Gwen’s old family home, and you will visit this area as part of her questline.

How To Unlock

Once Gwen goes missing, you can find her in Villa Maggiore. / Spiritfarer

Villa Maggiore requires no ship improvements to reach.

However, the island will only appear on the map once the spirit Gwen introduces it to you and asks you to visit it with her during the “Back to the Past” request.

During Gwen’s “I Must Be Off” request, this is also where you’ll find her after she disappears from the ship.

Villa Maggiore Chests

Villa Maggiore is a mansion island with plenty of chests inside.

Here’s where to find all of them:

Chest #1

Contains:

  • 1 Old Carpet

Step 1: Enter through the front door and head right (where there’s light) until you find the ladder at the very end.

Step 2: Go up the ladder to the second floor, and head left until you find another ladder.

Go up this ladder to reach the fourth floor, and then head left and go down another ladder to the second floor.

Once at the top, head left and climb down the next ladder. / Spiritfarer

Step 3: Head left until you find the next ladder, then go down to the first floor.

Step 4: From there, keep heading left towards the next ladder all the way beside the wall. Then use it to climb up the second floor.

Step 5: Walk left to find the next ladder going up, and climb it up to the third floor.

Then finally, just walk right and climb up the final ladder you see.

Step 6: Once you climb the final ladder, head slightly left towards the far western wall to find a hidden chest beside the wall.

Chest #2

Contains:

  • Loom Improvement Blueprint
  • Music Box

Note: Finding this chest is part of Gwen’s questline.

Step 1: From the first hidden chest detailed above, go back down the ladder you just climbed to reach the third floor.

Step 2: Then head right and you’ll pass underneath the balcony with the door, and you should find a ladder beside it. Climb this ladder and walk left to interact with the door to go outside.

You’ll find the chest on the balcony outside.

Chest #3

Contains:

  • Ceramic Bowl

Step 1: Start by heading towards the very right of the island. Here you will find a small shaded area.

Jump up to the shade covering and bounce on it until you can reach the roof of the Villa.

Go to the island’s far-right and bounce on the roof until you reach maximum height. / Spiritfarer

Step 2: Once you’re on the roof, simply head left to find the treasure chest.

Chest #4

Contains:

  • 1 Old Painting
  • 2 Linen Seeds

From the shaded area on the villa’s far-right side, jump towards the right to find the chest on a small platform below.

Shenanigan

Villa Maggiore has a shenanigan quest that’s accessible after Gwen leaves for the Everdoor. Once this happens, here’s what to do:

Step 1: Sail back to the island and talk to the gardener at the far left of the villa. He will tell you that he forgot his key, so leave him for now.

Step 2: After a while, the log on your shenanigan quest should change, and at that point you can go back to the gardener and talk to him again.

Step 3: He’ll tell you that the house is open & you can head inside to get the Garden Improvement Blueprint from the chest.
