Bon Vivant is the traveling food critic of Mineral Town who only visits once a year on Spring 22nd. His birthday is on Spring 21st. If you set your farmer’s birthday on the same day, his birthday will be on Spring 20th instead.

Courting Bon Vivant is not for the faint of heart.

But if you’re running a more culinary-focused gameplay, this character might be the best match for your farmer.

Bon Vivant is only in Mineral Town for one day every year, so it’s not hard to catch him as long as you remember to attend the Cooking Exhibition festival!

Marriage Requirements

Bon Vivant is a special marriage candidate, meaning he doesn’t have the regular heart events that the normal bachelors and bachelorettes have.

But you can directly propose to him after you’ve completed all of his marriage requirements! Just talk to him while holding a Blue Feather, and you’ll be able to get married from there.

These prerequisites will typically be difficult to achieve. You’ll need a lot of time and effort invested into late gameplay if you want to marry Bon Vivant.

Bon Vivant has no heart events for you to experience together, but wooing him is definitely a good challenge!

Love points can only be consistently earned with him by using the kitchen to cook meals. Before marriage, Bon Vivant will only be accessible for one day a year, so you have to make the most out of this rare occasion.
