The Dress is an item that you can only get at the Spring/Autumn Derby. Each dress costs 250 Medals, and it’s one of the most profitable items to sell in the game.
Note that the Dress is given to you in a pretty red box, so it’s not actually an item of clothing that you can wear.
Instead, the dress can be given as a gift to other villagers in Mineral Town, or you can resell them for a hefty profit.
How To Get Dresses
You can only get Dresses by purchasing them with Medals from Mayor Thomas’ prize stall at either of the Horse Derbies.
To buy a Dress, interact with Mayor Thomas in the top-left booth during the Derby festival to open the Prize shop menu.
One Dress will cost 250 Medals, which is equivalent to 12,500 G if you buy the Medals instead of gambling in the race.

Selling Dresses
Each Dress can be sold to Huang for anywhere between 11,800 and 12,700 G. His shop is located in Zack’s house on Mineral Beach.
To sell an item to Huang, interact with him over the counter while holding the item you want to sell.
He will make an offer, which you can then reject an unlimited number of times until you get the price that you want.
