The Apricorn Box can be obtained from a man who lives in a house on Route 30. He will be located just north of Cherrygrove City, which you can only access once you’ve received your starter Pokémon from Professor Elm.
More specifically, the Apricorn Box house serves as a midway point on the path to Mr. Pokémon’s house early in the game.
Once you have the Apricorn Box you’ll be able to collect and store Apricorns from Apricorn trees. Harvested Apricorns can be crafted into special Poké Balls by Kurt in Azalea Town.

How To Get The Apricorn Box (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: From Cherrygrove City, take the north exit.
Step 2: Continue north, through the tall grass and up the stairs. Both staircases lead to the same place, so you can take either one.
Step 3: At the top of the stairs there is a Bug Catcher and signpost. The Apricorn Box man’s house is just beyond these. (The Bug Catcher is not a battling trainer.)
Step 4: Enter the house and talk to the man inside. To thank you for visiting him, he will give you the Apricorn Box.
Note that if you walk past the house then this NPC will come out and give you the Apricorn Box anyway, so this is an unmissable key item.
Using the Apricorn Box
You can access the Apricorn Box via the ‘Key Items’ pocket inside of your bag. Doing so will show you how many Apricorns you have collected.
The Apricorn Box can hold up to 99 of each different type of Apricorn. It will also store the Apriblender to make Apricorn Juice, which can be found later in the game.
Types of Apricorns
There are 7 different types of Apricorns. Each different color will result in the creation of a different type of Poké Ball if it is given to Kurt.

| Green Apricorn | Friend Ball | A Pokémon caught with a Friend Ball is guaranteed to like you. |
| Pink Apricorn | Love Ball | The Love Ball has a higher catch rate if the target Pokémon is the opposite gender. |
| Red Apricorn | Level Ball | The higher your Pokémon’s level is compared to your target, the higher the catch rate the Level Ball will have. |
| White Apricorn | Fast Ball | The Fast Ball has a higher catch rate on fast Pokémon. |
| Yellow Apricorn | Moon Ball | The Moon Ball has a higher catch rate when used on Pokémon that can evolve with a Moon Stone. |
