In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, there are two Juggler NPCs that will give you berries in exchange for shards.
One Juggler can be found near the Pokémon Center in Violet City, and the other juggler can be found near the Pal Park in Fuchsia City.
Berry Juggler Locations
Location #1 in Violet City
The Juggler in Violet City can be found right next to the Pokémon Center.

Location #2 in Fuchsia City
The Juggler in Fuchsia City can be found just south of the Pal Park.

How Do You Find Shards?
You can find shards throughout the overworld by using Rock Smash on breakable rocks.
Shards can be found in four different colors:
- Red Shard
- Blue Shard
- Green Shard
- Yellow Shard
Shards don’t really have much of a use on their own in HeartGold and SoulSilver, but they can be traded to the Berry Jugglers for different kinds of berries.
Full Berries List from the Berry Jugglers
Each Juggler will trade you three different berries in exchange for a single shard.
The berries you get depend on the color of the shard you offer.
