Oranges are one of the fruits you can grow or forage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. They can be used to make a few recipes, especially desserts.

You can forage for them in the wild or grow them from trees on your farm during the Autumn and Winter seasons.

Where To Find Oranges

Oranges are forageable during both Autumn and Winter, where you can find them on the ground of the Secret Forest.

To get to the Secret Forest, follow the path above your farm and head east until you see the entrance surrounded by a grove of trees.

New Oranges will respawn almost every day during these seasons, so make sure to visit whenever you’re in the area.

You can also purchase Orange Trees anytime from Gotts’ Workshop for 1,000 G. They will bear fruit both in Autumn and Winter.

Uses for Oranges

As Food

Oranges can be consumed to restore a small amount of stamina. But they do not offer any fatigue recovery.

Selling Oranges

Oranges can be sold to either Zack or Huang for around 30 G.

Shipping Bin

To sell Oranges to Zack, simply drop them into the Shipping Bin and wait for him to pick them up at 5:00 PM every day.

The farmer drops an Orange into the Shipping Bin.

Selling Oranges via the Shipping Bin will count towards the list of shippable items you need to achieve for full completion.

This is important because shipping all possible items is a requirement for marrying either Kappa or the Harvest Goddess. You can track your progress by checking the Shipping List on your bookshelf.

Huang’s Shop

You can also choose to sell you Oranges to Huang.

To sell to Huang, hold the item in your hands and interact with him over the counter.

The farmer sells Oranges to Huang.

He will actually pay you a higher price for forageables that are not in season. For Winter forageables, you’ll get an additional 20% during Autumn and 10% in the Summer.

Since Oranges can also be foraged in Autumn, they will sell for 12.5% more in the Spring as well.
