You can find the Massage Girl in the southwestern corner of Veilstone City. She’s inside a house directly south of the Veilstone Gym.
Once per day, the Massage Girl will offer to give a free massage to a Pokémon in your party. This earns you a fashion accessory as well as a slight boost to that Pokémon’s Friendship stat.
The Massage Girl’s boyfriend is the Scarf Guy in Pastoria City.
Locating the Massage Girl
You can visit the Massage Girl at any point after first arriving in Veilstone City.
To find her, start by heading south from the Veilstone Pokémon Center.
Head all the way to the southern end of the paved street, then turn and move westward.
Keep a western course on the street, following the bends along the way.
When you hit the southwest corner of Veilstone City, head up the staircase to the north.
Climb the staircase and enter the first house on your right.
The blonde NPC sitting at the table is the Massage Girl.
What Do Massages Do?
Once per day, you can ask the Massage Girl to give a massage to one Pokémon from your party.
Getting massages from the Massage Girl serves two purposes:
- It slightly raises a Pokémon’s Friendship stat by +3
- It earns you a free fashion accessory
To get a massage, simply speak to the Massage Girl and select “Yes”.
The list of your party Pokémon will be displayed. Just select the Pokémon you want to be massaged from the list.
It doesn’t matter much which Pokémon you choose, but Pokémon with lower Friendship stats have the most to gain from the pampering.
Getting a massage boosts a Pokémon’s Friendship stat by 3 points. This is about the same boost to Friendship that a Pokémon gets when it gains a single level.
Massage Accessories
The Massage Girl will also find a random fashion accessory on your Pokémon during the massage, which she will hand to you afterwards.
Fashion accessories can be used to decorate your Pokémon in Super Contests. And the accessories that the Massage Girl gives you can’t be found anywhere else in the game.

Visiting the Massage Girl is one of the easiest ways to raise a Pokémon’s Friendship until you’re allowed into the Ribbon Syndicate, where massages earn far more Friendship points.
