Not far from the Pokémon Center in Hearthome City is an eccentric old treasure collector named Mr. Goods. While he is passionate about his valuables, he has no problem parting with them to reward trainers who have achieved impressive feats and milestones.
The items you get from Mr. Goods are used exclusively for decorating your Secret Base in the Underground. By collecting all of them, you can turn your Secret Base into a sort of “trophy room” to serve as a testament to your battle prowess and tenacity.
This guide will go over everything you need to know about Mr. Goods, including where to find him and how to receive all the items he has to offer.
Finding Mr. Goods
Mr. Goods is easily overlooked if you’re not in the habit of speaking with every person you see on the street, but you won’t have to spend much time searching for him.
Simply Fly to Hearthome City and you’ll see Mr. Goods just to the south of the Pokémon Center. You’ll recognize him by his gray hair and green beret.
Then simply speak to him to see if you qualify for any of his items.
If you’ve accomplished any of the benchmarks he deems rewardable, he will give you the corresponding item.
The “Goods” part of his name refers to Underground Goods, which are decorations you can use to adorn your Secret Base in the Underground.
Every item he gives you can be used only in this manner.
