RF4 Fortune Teller: Location + What Do They Do?

The Fortune Teller is an NPC in Rune Factory 4 who lives in a house found in Selphia Plain East.

Rather than telling your future though, this NPC just talks about your compatibility with a companion you have tagging along with you.

Unfortunately, the compatibility factor they give is completely random. It won’t actually affect your relationship with your companion, and the compatibility quotient changes daily.

So there is no real in-game affect from visiting the Fortune Teller.

That being said, you’ll see a lot of entertaining dialogue by visiting with different townspeople.

Fortune Teller Location (Step-by-Step)

To get to the fortune teller’s house in Rune Factory 4, you’ll first need to head south of Selphia Castle Gate.

The next area is an intersection along Selphia Plain. Head south from here.

Next up is a wide area filled with colored grass and low-level mobs.

Head to the east section, then go through the path heading south towards Mush Road.

From this next area, you’ll need to head for Selphia Road Mush Span.

You’ll find it by going through the eastern exit.

You’ll then make it to Selphia Road Mush Span.

Cross the bridge east and head all the way through the path on the far right side of this map.

You’ll then make it to the first area of Selphia Plain East.

The fortune teller lives in the house sitting along the upper edge of the map here (pictured below).

Head inside to find the fortune teller.

You can speak with them and they’ll ask you to pick a companion. You’ll then find out your daily random compatibility factor with the companion of your choice!
