How Do You Get The Mine Elevator? (SoS: FoMT)

The Mine Elevator can be obtained as one of the gifts you’ll receive from the Harvest Goddess. Specifically you’ll need to make 100 offerings to her. Note that you will not get the elevator immediately after giving her 100 gifts – you’ll need to also enter & leave the mine to start the cutscene that’ll unlock the elevator.

If you’ve ever gone for a spelunking session in the 255-floor deep mines in Mineral Town, you definitely understand how frustrating it feels to keep redoing the same levels every time you come back from the surface.

Fortunately, the game offers this elevator as a quick way to navigate through all 255 levels.

Once you finally get the elevator, you can start to use it on both the Lake and Spring Mines.

Unlocking the Mine Elevator

There’s only one thing you need to do to unlock the coveted Mine Elevator:

Give a total of 100 gifts to the Harvest Goddess.

Some of the easier gifts to offer the Harvest Goddess are Strawberries, Eggs, or Milk. If push comes to shove, offering her whatever wildflower is growing around the Hot Spring is usually a safe bet!

There won’t be a notification telling you that you’ve given 100 gifts already, but you’ll know once you see a new book added to the shelf in your house (The Tremendously Interesting Book).

After that, you’ll still need to force a cutscene to get your elevator.

To trigger the Harvest Goddess’ elevator dialogue, you have to walk into the Spring Mine once and exit back outside. She will then congratulate you and allow you to finally go back inside the mines.

How The Mine Elevator Works

After the cutscene, you’ll be able to see a control panel next to the entrance to the mine. You can use this every time you want to skip to a certain level.

But that doesn’t mean you can just coast through the rest of the floors, though.

The elevator will only give you access to Levels 1, 50, 100, 150, 200, and 225. This is true in both the Lake and Spring Mines. And each of these elevator locations can only be unlocked once you actually reach the level in question on your own.

So even if you reach the bottom of the mines at Level 255, the elevator will only be able to take you until Level 225.
