1 | Battle Maison – Purchase for 48 BP | Yes |
The Focus Sash is a held item that prevents its holder from being knocked out in one hit. You can only get this item by purchasing it with 48 BP inside the Battle Maison. This is a battle facility located at the Battle Resort.
You can only access the Battle Resort after finishing the Delta Episode, so the Focus Sash is only available in the post-game.
But you can get an unlimited number of Focus Sashes with this method.
Focus Sash Location
You can only obtain the Focus Sash from one of the Exchange Service Corners in the Battle Maison. You can find this battle facility north of the Battle Resort.
But before the Battle Resort becomes accessible, you need to finish the Delta Episode. Once you do that you’ll receive the S.S. Ticket from Gym Leader Norman, and you can then travel to the Battle Resort via the S.S. Tidal.
Note: Once you arrive on the island for the first time, you can then Fly to this location without using the ferry.

After disembarking at the Battle Resort (or after Flying there) you’ll find the Battle Maison on the northern side of the area (pictured below).

Inside the Battle Maison, go up to the second floor.
You can find two Exchange Service Corners on either side – the one on the right sells the Focus Sash for 48 BP.

Obtaining Battle Points (BP)
Each Focus Sash costs 48 BP. To earn BP, you’ll need to participate in battle challenges in the Battle Maison.
You can find the entrance to the arena between the two Exchange Service Corners in the Battle Maison – inside, just speak to the woman on the right to begin a challenge.
Tip: 20 consecutive wins in a battle challenge will yield precisely 48 BP.

During a battle challenge, you’ll earn 1 BP for each battle you win for the first ten battles.
Then you’ll start earning 2 BP for every win after that.
On your 20th battle, you’ll face a Battle Chatelaine – they are stronger than regular trainers, but beating them will get you 20 BP.
How the Focus Sash Works

A Pokémon holding a Focus Sash will survive an attack that would knock it out from full HP, preventing it from fainting and keeping it at 1 HP. The Focus Sash will then disappear after use.
Note: From Gen V onwards, if a Focus Sash takes effect before the last hit of a multi-strike move (such as Fury Swipes) is dealt, its holder will still faint.
