Dragon Rage Details + Uses

Dragon Rage Move Details
Type Dragon
Power
Accuracy 100%
PP 10 (max. 16)
Effect Always deals 40 HP damage.

Dragon Rage always deals 40 HP damage. Since the damage of the move is always the same, then even Pokémon with a low attack stat can make great use of Dragon Rage.

The move’s consistency is its strength and also its weakness.

Dragon Rage can’t take advantage of your Pokémon’s stats or any type advantages to increase its damage. On the other hand, the damage of Dragon Rage will also be unaffected by stat decreases or type disadvantages.

However, if you’re looking for a move with consistent damage output, you might be better off using Seismic Toss.

Depending on the level of your Pokémon, the damage that Seismic Toss inflicts can go above 40, and Seismic Toss can be taught to a wider variety of Pokémon.

Still, Dragon Rage is a decent move option for those Pokémon who can’t learn Seismic Toss.
