TM37 can be found in two locations in Pokémon Yellow. You can get one copy in the Fuchsia City Safari Zone’s east area. It’s located near the center of the area in a small patch of grass surrounded by a large body of water.

Or this TM can also be purchased at the Celadon City Department Store from the right cashier on the 2nd floor.

You can get TM37 at any point after getting to Fuchsia City or getting to Celadon City.

Getting TM37 Egg Bomb

Location 1: From the Safari Zone

Starting from the Fuchsia City Safari Zone, enter the building.

You’ll be stopped by the man at the right counter. He says you’ll need to pay 500 Pokédollars before you can enter.

Pay your fee and then enter the Safari Zone.

Note: Once you enter the Safari Zone, you’re allowed 500 steps before you’re automatically kicked out. You can check how many steps you have left by pressing the Start button and looking in the top left corner of the screen.

You’ll need to pay 500 Pokédollars every time you want to re-enter the Safari Zone.

At the start of the Safari Zone, head east until you reach the bushes.

Once you reach the bushes, head north until you reach the big tree next to the blue right arrows.

Standing at the southeast edge of the starting area.

Head east following the blue arrows and enter the east area of the Safari Zone.

Near the entrance to the Safari Zone’s east area.

In this new area, head east past the sign.

At the start of the Safari Zone’s east area.

Walk up the stairs on the first rock you see, then go down the stairs on the left.

In the grass near the first rock with stairs in the east area.

Then head north until you reach a thin patch of grass surrounded by a large body of water.

At the bottom of the left side stairs of the first rock in the east area.

Once you reach the patch of grass, head into it and you should spot an item on the ground.

You’ll find a Pokéball at the end of the grass patch. This Pokéball contains TM37.

Location 2: From the Celadon City Department Store

Starting from the Celadon City Pokémon Center, head west until you reach the department store.

Once you’re in front of the department store, head inside.

Then head up to the 2nd floor.

You can get to the 2nd floor by using the elevator on the left or going up the stairs on the right.

Once you’re on the 2nd floor, go to the cashier’s desk in the center of the room and talk to the cashier on the right.

Select TM37 from the purchasable TM List. It will cost you 2000 Pokédollars.

Egg Bomb is a decent attack that can only be taught to a very small pool of Pokémon. Specifically only these:

Exeggcute
Exeggutor
Chansey
Mew

Since Chansey and Exeggcute have a low attack stat, the move is most effective when taught to an Exeggutor. (and also technically Mew, but since Mew can learn any TM in the game, there are better moves you can teach it.)

If you have an Exeggutor on your team, then Egg Bomb is a pretty good move to teach it. Otherwise it’s better to just sell this TM for cash.
