Where To Get the Brush in SoS: FoMT

The Brush is one of the tools sold at Saibara’s Forge. You can buy it from him for 800 G at the very start of the game, and it’s used to groom the pets and animals you have on your farm.

Getting The Brush

The Brush is one of the tools available for purchase from Saibara at the Forge. To get to the Forge, head north from your farm entrance and turn to the first right.

Saibara will only be available at the Forge from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, every day except Thursday. Make sure to catch him when he’s behind the counter or you won’t be able to access his shop!

The Brush will cost 800 G and will only be available for purchase once.

After you buy the Brush, you can head back to the farm and start grooming your animals.

Why You Should Brush Your Animals

Giving your animals love and attention in the form of food, pets, and grooming will all get you Love Points (LP).

Brushing them at least once a day will increase their LP by +1 point.

The other things you can do to raise affection with your animals are to feed them every day and talk to them. You can also let them go outside on a Sunny or Snowy day for at least 4 hours.

Each action will give you one additional LP, but you can only do them once a day.

Having a higher LP with your animals means that you can harvest higher-quality products, such as wool, milk, or fleece. You will also be unable to buy a new pet from Van unless all of your existing pets have at least 8 hearts each.
