1 Mt. Moon. Near the southwest corner of the first floor. No.

TM12 can be found near the start of Mt. Moon. It’s on the ground in the southwest corner of the first floor.

You can get TM12 at any point after getting to Mt. Moon.

Getting TM12 Water Gun

Starting from the Route 3 Pokémon Center, head east and enter Mt. Moon.

Once you’ve entered the cave, head north until you’re just above the giant rock on the left.

Once you’re above the rock, go west until you see a Pokéball below you.

The Pokéball southwest of you contains TM12 Water Gun.

Water Gun is one of the most basic Water type attacks in the game.

It’s a perfectly usable move for the early stages of the game, but will eventually be outclassed by stronger Water type moves such as BubbleBeam and Surf.

Though available Water type Pokémon are scarce in the early parts of the game, teaching Water Gun to a Pokémon with a good special stat can offer your Pokémon some type coverage.
