Hummingberg is an early-game island you can visit in Spiritfarer. It’s also the place where you can find your third spirit: Summer.

How To Unlock Hummingberg

Hummingberg is another island that requires no ship improvements to reach. Rather, you can visit it at any time once it appears on the World Map.

What To Find

There are plenty of things you can find in Hummingberg. First, you can find the Double Jump Ability Shrine right in the middle of the town. You can unlock it by exchanging two obols given to you by spirits.

Unlocking Double Jump allows you to reach a broken ladder at the far right of the town, where you can find the spirit Summer sitting at a bench overlooking the sea.

All Hummingberg Chests

Aside from the resources above, there are also a number of treasure chests on the island.

We’ll guide you step-by-step on how to find every chest here.

Chest #1

Contains:

  • 2 Carrot Seeds
  • 1 Turnip Seed

From the island’s starting point, head right and immediately go inside the first house you see. Then go upstairs to find the chest in the left-hand corner.

Chest #2

Contains:

  • 2 Carrot Seeds
  • 1 Turnip Seed

Enter the ground floor of the second house and go all the way to the left-hand side to find the next chest.

Chest #3

Contains:

  • 1 Vibrant Necklace

Step 1: From the second house, head right again and go past the ability shrine to find the third house.

Step 2: Double-jump up to the windowsill of this pink house, and jump up again to reach the roof where the chest is located.

Chest #4

Contains:

  • 2 Linen Seeds

Step 1: From the third house on Hummingberg, head right past the bridge and Raccoon Shop.

Step 2: Double jump up to the broken ladder (pictured below) and walk right until you find the Feedorama Worker trying to sell you food.

Step 3: Double jump up to the windowsill just above the worker to reach the spot where the chest is located.

Chest #5

Contains:

  • 1 Citrine

Step 1: Head right again and go to the little bench in front of the sea where you first found Summer.

Step 2: Dive into the blinking part of the water next to the bench to get the gemstone.

Chest #6

Contains:

  • 2 Linen Seeds

Step 1: Go to the Raccoon Store and buy the Key for Hummingberg for 5,000 Glims.

Step 2: Then enter the house with the broken ladder beside it to find this chest.
