  • Treasure Coffer Reward from the Containment Bay Z1T9 (Extreme) trial
  • Trade 99 Demon Totems with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) or Rowena’s Representative in Foundation (X:10.5, Y:11.8)

To get the Demonic Lanner Mount, you’ll need to win the Demonic Lanner Whistle from the Level 60 trial Containment Bay Z1T9 (Extreme), also known as Zurvan EX. After clearing the trial either by yourself or with your friends, you’ll have two ways of getting the mount:

  • Win the Demonic Lanner Whistle from the Treasure Coffer. The whistle isn’t a guaranteed drop, so you may need to clear the trial a few times to get it. You can clear this trial alone with a high-level character, so you don’t need to roll against seven other people.
  • Trade 99 Demon Totems with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) or Rowena’s Representative in Foundation (X:10.5, Y:11.8). You’ll get one Demon Totem after every clear, though you probably won’t need to defeat Zurvan 99 times before the whistle drops from the coffer.

The Demonic Lanner mount is also one of the seven Lanner mounts you’ll need to acquire to unlock the Firebird mount.

The Level 60 trial Containment Bay Z1T9 (Extreme) is one of the endgame trials introduced in the Heavensward expansion and is the main source of acquiring the Demonic Lanner mount.

While it’s an 8-person trial, you won’t need to roll against seven other people for the whistle when it drops.

At this point in the game, you can solo Zurvan EX using a high-level character with relative ease.

However, if you’re running the trial with your friends and get extremely unlucky, you’ll still get Demon Totems after each clear.

You can trade 99 Demon Totems to either Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) or Rowena’s Representative in Foundation (X:10.5, Y:11.8) for the whistle. But let’s hope you won’t need that many runs!

Once you get the whistle, simply use it from your inventory to get your new demonic bird. See some of the screenshots and GIFs in the gallery below if you want to know how the Demonic Lanner looks in-game.
