You can acquire the Rose Lanner mount by obtaining a Rose Lanner Whistle through the Level 60 trial Thok ast Thok (Extreme), also known as the Ravana EX trial. This can be done in two ways:
- Win the Rose Lanner Whistle from the Treasure Coffer after defeating Ravana EX. Since this trial is a bit dated now, you can easily solo it and not have to roll against other people to get the whistle.
- Trade 99 Hive Totems with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) orRowena’s Representative in Foundation (X:10.5, Y:11.8). You get one Hive Totem every time you clear the trial.
The Rose Lanner mount is also one of the seven Lanner mounts you’ll need to acquire to unlock the Firebird mount.
Thok ast Thok (Extreme)

Thok as Thok (Extreme) is a Level 60 trial made available in patch 3.2 of the Heavensward expansion and is the primary source for obtaining the Rose Lanner Whistle. Read our guide above on how to unlock and clear the trial on your own or with your friends.
At the end of each fight, the treasure coffer will have a chance to drop the Rose Lanner Whistle.
You’ll likely need to run the trial quite a few times to get it, especially if other people are rolling against you.
You’ll also get one guaranteed Hive Totem after every kill, which you can trade for the mount should you be unfortunate enough to not get it after 99 tries. Talk to Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) or Rowena’s Representative in Foundation (X:10.5, Y:11.8) to trade the totems for the Rose Lanner Whistle (or weapon loot).
After obtaining the whistle, simply open your inventory and use it to enjoy your new mount!
