How To Get Muscle Bands in Pokémon ORAS

The Muscle Band can only be acquired by purchasing it from one of the exchange shops inside the Battle Maison. You can find this battle facility at the Battle Resort.

But the Battle Resort is only accessible in the post-game after you finish the Delta Episode, where you’ll receive a ticket that lets you board a ferry that will take you there.

Obtaining Muscle Bands

You can buy Muscle Bands from one of the two shops inside the Battle Maison called Exchange Service Corners.

Each shop sells unique items – and the one on the right will have the Muscle Band in stock.

The Battle Maison is found north of the Battle Resort. However, you’ll need to finish the Delta Episode before you gain access to the island.

After finishing the Delta Episode, Gym Leader Norman will give you a ticket that lets you board the S.S. Tidal from the harbors of either Slateport City or Lilycove City – this is the only way to get to the Battle Resort if you haven’t discovered it on the map yet.

There’s no limit to the amount of Muscle Bands you can purchase as long as you have BP.

If you need to collect more BP, just participate in battle challenges in the arena of the Battle Maison.

Getting to the Battle Maison

Here’s a quick guide on how to get to the Battle Maison:

Step 1: From the Pokémon Center at the Battle Resort, go right and take the nearby staircase heading up the island.

Step 2: At the top of the stairs you’ll find the Battle Maison straight ahead.

Step 3: Inside, head up to the second floor via the right staircase.

You’ll find the Exchange Service Corner that sells Muscle Bands to your right.

How the Muscle Band Works

The Muscle Band is a held item that boosts the power of its holder’s physical moves by 10%.

While other similar items do outclass the Muscle Band, such as Life Orb and Choice Band, it’s still a decent item for Pokémon that primarily use Physical moves if you need an easy Attack boost without any drawbacks or special conditions.
