How To Plant and Harvest Tomatoes

First, you’ll need to go to the General Store and buy seeds from Jeff at the counter.

The farmer buys Tomato seeds from Jeff at the General Store.

Tomato seeds cost 200 G per bag and are only available during Summer. Each seed bag will cover a 3×3 area on your field.

After tilling the ground with your Hoe, you can equip the seed bag from your toolbox and plant the Tomato. Make sure to water them at least once a day using your Watering Can!

If it’s raining, there’s no need to water your crops manually.

The farmer stands in the middle of a freshly planted Tomato field.

The Tomato will be fully grown after 9 days and ready to harvest. After that, another crop will be ready again every 3 days.

Tomato Uses

The farmer cooks a Spicy Margherita using Tomato.

How To Sell Tomatoes

Zack (Shipping Bin)

Tomato and other crops can usually be sold to Zack via the Shipping Bin. Just drop your produce into the box before 5 PM to automatically sell them.

The farmer drops a Tomato into the Shipping Bin.

The price for Tomatoes will increase depending on the quality.

Take note that the prices listed above are based on Normal Game Mode. If you choose to play in Simple Mode at the start of the game, your shipments will be worth 20% more.

Huang

You can also sell Tomatoes directly to Huang if you prefer! He will actually pay you a higher price for crops that are not in season. For Summer crops, you’ll get an additional 10% during Spring and an extra 20% in Winter.

During Summer and Autumn, Huang will only offer you the regular shipping price for Tomato.
