Valentine’s Day – Story of Seasons: FoMT

Getting an Orangette from Elly on Valentines Day (SoS:FoMT)
Valentine’s Day
Date Winter 14th (annual)
Time 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location Farmhouse
Special Requirements At least 10,000 LP with one bachelorette
Prizes Chocolate, Orangette, Achievement Ring

Every year on Winter 14th, the bachelorettes in Mineral Town will visit you and offer a token of their appreciation: Chocolate or Orangettes.

This romantic festival is an indicator of how far along you are in your relationship with one of the bachelorettes. Completing this festival and receiving an Orangette will also award you with one of the 7 Achievement Rings.

Requirements

The Valentine’s Day Festival is a whole-day event, meaning you don’t necessarily have to “attend” anything.

The bachelorettes will visit you on your farm instead, and you can interact with them to receive your gift.

To make the bachelorettes actually show up, you’ll need to have at least 10,000 Love Points (LP) with at least one of them.

If you have less than 10,000 LP with every bachelorette, then nobody will appear for this event.

You can track your current LP with the characters by opening the Villagers Relationship menu and checking their heart levels.

If the bachelorette has a purple heart or higher, they will be eligible to participate in the Valentine’s Day festivities.

Bachelorettes

If you’re still unmarried by the time Valentine’s Day rolls around, each bachelorette with more than 10,000 LP will visit you one by one on your farm.

They’ll follow a specific schedule every year.

Valentine’s Day Bachelorettes’ Schedule
Popuri 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Ran 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Elly 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Karen 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Marie 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Jennifer 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

You can check your heart levels with each candidate the previous day so you’ll know when to expect a visitor. You can still perform other tasks (fishing, mining, etc.) while the festival is ongoing, but all shops will be closed for the day.

But make sure to interact with the bachelorettes to trigger the dialogue!

They will just stand outside of your farmhouse for the duration of their schedule, so if you don’t talk to them first before they leave, you won’t receive anything.

Once you speak with them, they’ll each give you a dessert based on your current heart level with them:

  • Chocolate – Purple/Blue/Green Heart (10,000-39,999 LP)
  • Orangette – Yellow Heart (40,000 LP or more)

Bachelors

You can also give Chocolate to the bachelors on Valentine’s Day. They will accept Orangettes too, but this won’t earn you any bonus points.

The Orangettes can be made fresh in your kitchen, but you can also repurpose any gifts you received earlier from the bachelorettes. Just regift them to save some time, and no one will know any better!

If you’d rather make the Orangettes from scratch anyway, you can learn the recipe through inspiration by cooking 5 dishes with Chocolate.

Chocolate, on the other hand, can simply be purchased from the General Store for 100 G.

Event Details (After Marriage)

If you ever decide to get married in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, you’ll still be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your spouse.

They will also surprise you with a dessert in the morning, depending on your current heart level with them:

  • Chocolate – Green Heart (30,000 LP)
  • Orangette – Yellow Heart (40,000 LP or more)
