Where To Get TM84 Poison Jab in Pokémon Black & White

Using Poison Jab in battle in Pokémon Black

You’ll find TM84 Poison Jab on Route 6 near a small wooden bridge. You can access this area by traveling west of Driftveil City.

But to reach TM84’s location you’ll need to have HM03 Surf, which you get shortly after defeating the Mistralton City Gym.

Poison Jab is a Poison-type attack that deals considerable damage at 80 base Power. It also poisons its target 30% of the time.

Poison Jab is one of the most-effective Poison-type moves in Pokémon.

It deals considerable damage, has perfect accuracy, and also has a solid chance of poisoning its target at 30%.

Adding to its strengths, Poison Jab can also be taught to a wide variety of types other than Poison Pokémon.

If you’re looking to pair the move with a strong Physical attacker, then you might consider:

  • Haxorus (147 Physical Attack)
  • Rhyperior (140)
  • Conkledurr (140)

All of these Pokémon are heavy-hitting non-Poison-types that can be taught Poison Jab in B&W.

Toxicroak is the best Poison-type option for this gen, but it also learns the move naturally at level 49. So TM84 may be better suited for another Attacker in your party.
