We’ll cover both of these locations below, including a step-by-step guide on how to reach the TM inside Victory Road.

Getting TM05 Mega Kick

Location 1: From Victory Road

There’s a trainer (Cooltrainer♀) nearby, but she can be avoided if you walk beneath her.

Mega Kick Move Details

Mega Kick Move Details
Type Normal
Power 120
Accuracy 75%
PP 5 (max. 8)
Effect No additional effects in battle.

Mega Kick is one of the strongest Normal-type moves in the game. However, the move’s usefulness is held back by its 75% accuracy.

So while Mega Kick can often result in some one hit KO’s, its somewhat high potential to miss might let you down in a tough situation.

If you’re looking for a slightly better Normal-type move, you might want to consider using higher accuracy moves such as Mega Punch or Body Slam.

Although they’re not as powerful as Mega Kick, both moves have higher accuracy and more PP. And furthermore, Body Slam has a 30% chance of paralyzing the opposing Pokémon.
