TM32 Double Team can be found in two places in Pokémon Yellow:

You can first buy an unlimited number of copies in the Celadon Dept. Store. Or if you want a free method then visit the Fuchsia City Safari Zone’s west area. The TM is on the ground in the northwestern corner of this Safari Zone area, sitting just above a small body of water.

Getting TM32 Double Team

Method 1: From the Celadon City Department Store

Starting from the Celadon City Pokémon Center, head west until you reach the right side of the department store.

Once you enter the department store, head up to the 2nd floor.

You can get to the 2nd floor by using the elevator on the left or going up the stairs on the right.

Once you’re on the 2nd floor, go to the cashier’s desk in the center of the room and talk to the cashier on the right.

Select TM32 from the purchasable TM List. TM32 will cost you 1000 Pokédollars.

Getting TM32 Double Team from the Dept. Store.

Method 2: From the Safari Zone

Starting from the Fuchsia City Safari Zone, enter the building and pay the entry fee.

Paying the 500 Pokédollar fee to enter the Safari Zone.

Note: Once you enter the Safari Zone, you’re allowed 500 steps before you’re automatically kicked out. You can check how many steps you have left by pressing the Start button and looking in the top left corner of the screen.

At the start of the Safari Zone, head east until you reach the bushes.

Once you reach the bushes, head north until you reach the big tree next to the blue arrows pointing east.

Standing at the southeast edge of the starting area.

Head east following the blue arrows and enter the east area of the Safari Zone.

In this new area, head east until you’ve passed a row of bushes.

At the start of the Safari Zone’s east area.

Once you’ve passed the bushes, walk up the stairs on the first giant rock you see.

Then head west and go down the stairs on the left side of the rock.

Once you’re down, head up the path until you see another giant rock with stairs.

At the bottom of the left side stairs of the first giant rock in the east area.

Walk up the stairs on the 2nd giant rock, and head east until you reach another set of stairs going back down.

Standing next to a thin grass patch surrounded by water in the east area.

Go down the stairs on the right side of the giant rock, then head northwest to go up & behind this rocky platform.

Then continue west through the grass until you see a signpost for the next area.

Go past the sign and towards the blue arrows on the ground and enter the north area of the Safari Zone.

In this new area, head west into the grass past the sign beneath a giant rock.

Once you’re in the grass past the small sign, head north into the grass and go up the stairs on another giant rock.

Walk southwest along the rock’s path and down the stairs at the bottom of the rock.

On top a giant rock with stairs in the north area.

Back on the ground, head northwest through the grass to your left until you’re between two big trees.

Just below the stairs at the bottom of a rock in the north area.

Once you’re between the two giant trees, head east until you’re past the bushes.

Above a patch of grass and in between two big trees in the north area.

Once you’re past the bushes, go up & around to follow this path west until you reach another giant tree in the northwest corner of this area.

At the giant tree in the corner, head south until you reach the blue arrows on the ground for the next area.

Head south following the blue arrows to reach the west area of the Safari Zone.

Now head southwest until you reach the Pokéball on the ground containing TM32.

Double Team is a powerful stat increasing move that raises the user’s evasiveness by one stage.

Multiple uses of Double Team can make your Pokémon extremely difficult to hit in any battle – and it makes for a great defensive tactic.

For a more defensive Pokémon, or conversely a Pokémon with a low defense or special stat, Double Team is a good move worth using. Otherwise you might just skip over this TM or sell it for extra cash.
