But you won’t be able to get onto the S.S Anne until you get the S.S ticket from Bill at his house on Route 25. Once you get the ticket you’ll have access to TM44.

  1. Obtain the S.S Ticket from Bill at his house at the northeast edge of Route 25

Rest Details + Uses

Rest Move Details
Type Psychic
Power 0
Accuracy 100%
PP 10 (max. 16)
Effect The user falls asleep for two turns and heals to max HP. Replaces any non volatile status conditions the user has with sleep. Can’t be used if the user has full HP.

Rest will fully heal the user at the cost of putting them to sleep for two turns.

Aside from recovering HP, another benefit of Rest is that any moves used against you that inflict status conditions won’t work since your Pokémon is already asleep.

Also, if the user has a non-volatile status condition (a status that remains even after switching out, such as poison or paralysis) then Rest will replace it with sleep.

Rest is most useful when used by a Pokémon with a high defense or special stat. They’ll be able to withstand attacks from opposing Pokémon while they’re asleep.

When used by the right Pokémon, Rest can be a very powerful healing move.
