Yodel Ranch is a small farm run by Mugi, Mineral Town’s resident livestock keeper. He knows everything there is to know about barn animals like cows, sheep, and alpacas.

The only way you can get your first barn animal is to purchase them directly from Mugi. After this, you can breed more on your farm with Animal Breeding Kits.

Yodel Ranch is located south of Mineral Town, right below Rose Plaza.

To get there from your farm, you can leave via the exit next to your house and head east. After you pass the entrance to the Secret Forest, go down.

Alternatively, you can take the southern path (where Gotts’ Workshop is) and follow the road east, then head up and cross the bridge. You’ll find yourself right in the middle of the ranch.

Mugi’s shop is the one with a teal-blue roof, next to the barn.

Once you enter the building, Mugi, the shop owner, will greet you.

Interact with him over the counter to open the shop menu.

The items you can buy in Yodel Ranch are pretty straightforward.

Mainly, you can get animals directly from Mugi. He will also offer food and Breeding Kits, but that’s all.

Other livestock supplies like the Brush, Milker, and Clippers, can be found in Saibara’s blacksmith shop. These items are not essential for your animal to survive, but they boost friendship levels and allow you to harvest products from them.
