Comet Rocks fall under Spiritfarer’s rocks category, and they are exclusively acquired via the Meteor Showers event that Giovanni introduces to you.

This item is used in at least 1 boat improvement and 1 building, but can be used in another type of boat improvement and building when turned to comet powder using the Crusher.

How To Get Comet Rocks

Catching comet rock via the meteor showers event.

Before anything, you will need to first recruit the spirit Giovanni. You can find him on the island of Loneberg, at X: -40, Y: 192.

Once you have Giovanni, simply follow his quest line until he introduces you to the Meteor Showers event. As a location based-event, this minigame will have you visiting any of these coordinates, marked by a meteor shower logo on the map:

X: 175, Y: -82
X: 228, Y: -8
X: 205, Y: 18
X: 258, Y: 8
X: 248, Y: -121
X: 250, Y: -142

Once the event starts, you will need to platform around the ship and touch the sparkling spots on the ground where the meteors fell.

The more spots you touch, the more comet rocks you get at the end of the event.

After Giovanni leaves the ship, you can trigger this event by sailing to a location and interacting with the door of Astrid’s Bungalow.

Making Comet Powder

To make Comet Powder, you first need the Crusher building. This requires:

7 Pulsar Ingots
15 Ash Planks
5 Zinc Ingots

Once you have the building, simply head inside and put your comet rocks inside the machine. Then press the interact button repeatedly until the comet powder comes out.

1 comet rock is equal to 1 comet powder.
