Glass is a type of metal material in Spiritfarer. It’s made by smelting empty bottles inside the Foundry.
How To Get Empty Bottles
Glass is made from empty bottles. Fortunately, these empty bottles can be easily acquired via:
- Buying them from Francis’ Floating Shop for 20 Glims apiece.
- Fishing and finding a bottled message. Once you open the message, you will get an empty bottle right after.
- Plenty of floating crates you find in the water can drop a good amount of empty bottles.
Additionally, you also have the option of selling empty bottles in your inventory for 10 Glims apiece.
How To Make Glass
To turn your empty bottles into glass, you will first need the Foundry building. This requires:
- 10 Coals
- 10 Oak Planks
After the Foundry has been built, this is how the smelting minigame is played:
Step 1: Go inside and interact with the furnace. Place some coal inside.
Step 2: Head to the left compartment and input some of your empty bottles. If you prefer, you can input up to 50 pieces.
Step 3: After confirming the items, start the minigame.
Head to the bellows and push on them in an alternating fashion in order to push the needle up the indicated temperature. Make sure to stay within this range, as going over will overheat the furnace.
Step 4: Once the thermometer fills itself up, the glass will fall in the basket at the Foundry’s right side.
