Aluminum Ore & Ingots (Spiritfarer)

Aluminum Ore is one of the mineable materials that can only be acquired from the dragon minigames.

As the name suggests, this ore is acquired by beating the aluminum dragon, and can be later turned to aluminum ingots via the Foundry. These ingots are then used to make 1 building and 5 improvements.

How To Get Aluminum Ore

As mentioned above, aluminum ore is acquired via the aluminum dragon minigame, which is introduced to you by the spirit Summer.

Once you have Summer, follow her story line until you reach “The Metastatic Coil,” where she will introduce the location of the aluminum dragon: X: -132, Y: 134.

Do note that this location is found up north in the winter side of the Hummingberg Region, and therefore requires the Icebreaker Ship Improvement. For a list of this upgrade’s required materials, head to our boat improvements guide.

As soon as the minigame begins, you will need to platform on the back of the dragon and break any aluminum ore nodes on its back. Keep in mind that each node only requires one charged-up hit of Stella’s pickaxe.

You can also repeat this event as much as you want, given that it’s present on the World Map.

How To Grow Aluminum Ore

Once you have some aluminum ore in your inventory, you can also grow them in any of the Turtle Sisters. Just plant some ore on their backs and wait until the nodes are ready to be mined.

Here are the locations of all three Turtle Sisters:

• Olga (X: 81, Y: 28)
• Masha (X: -91, Y: 138)
• Irina (X: 127, Y: -76)

How To Make Aluminum Ingots

To make aluminum ingots, you will need the Foundry. This building requires:

• 10 Coals
• 10 Oak Planks

Once the Foundry is built, here’s how to turn your aluminum ore into ingots.

Step 1: Head inside and interact with the furnace in the middle to place some coal. You can put as much coal as you want.

Step 2: Head to the left side and interact with the compartment to place some of your aluminum ore. You can input up to 50 if you like.

Step 3: Once the items have been confirmed, the foundry minigame will start. Interact with the bellows on each side in an alternating manner to push the needle up to the required temperature.

Make sure the indicator remains inside the temperature to avoid any overheating.

Step 4: Wait until the thermometer fills up, and the aluminum ingots will fall inside the basket at the right for you to easily collect.
