Mushrooms fall under the veggie category of Spiritfarer, but can only be acquired by picking them up on the ground from 4 islands in the game. Once acquired, mushrooms are a flexible veggie that can be used to cook at least 9 veggie-related dishes.

Where To Get Mushrooms

Unlike other veggies that need to be planted in your garden, mushrooms are instead easily picked up from the ground in certain locations. These locations are as follows:

Note: In case you already have the spirit Buck on your ship, you can always see him standing beside the mushrooms whenever you visit any of the islands below.

Gurenu Fields

Gurenu Fields doesn’t require any ship upgrades to reach. It is found in the Furogawa Region, at X: -65, Y: 55.

Once on the island, head to your left and walk past the forest. The mushroom patch can be seen immediately once you get past the trees.

Iwashima Countryside

This is another beginner island that can easily be reached without ship upgrades. It’s located at X: -64, Y: 16, just below Gurenu Fields on the World Map.

Once you’re on the island, walk to your right to find the first set of mushrooms, just beside the light pole.

Mushroom #2

The second mushroom is right beside the bridge / Spiritfarer

Keep walking right until you pass by a small bridge. The mushrooms are just on its other end, right beside a tree.

Resuteno Meadows

This is yet again another starter island, located below Iwashima Countryside at X: -97, Y: -25. Just like before, you can easily reach it even with zero ship upgrades.

Once on this island, just keep walking to your right until you reach the other end of the island. The mushrooms are right beside the docks.

Hoseki Quarry

The last location you can visit is Hoseki Quarry, which is located at the top-left of Resuteno Meadows. Coordinates are X: -138, Y: 28.

As is the case with previous islands on this list, this one requires no ship upgrades to reach.

The first mushroom patch is right on the entrance of the quarry once you arrive.

Mushroom #2

This mushroom patch requires some effort, so here’s a step-by-step guide on how to find it:

Step 1: Go up the first two ladders after entering the quarry.

Step 2: From the very top, head to your left.

Step 3: Once you find a fork in the road, jump up to the higher path going right.

Step 4: Face right, and jump onto the next higher path.

Step 5: Keep walking to your right. You’ll eventually come across the mushroom on the ground.

Mushroom #3

From the last mushroom patch, jump to your right to go past the shallow platform. This next mushroom patch is right on the other side.

Mushroom #4

Step 1: From the last mushroom patch, ride the giant fan beside it and hover left to land on the higher path.
