Old-Central District Location Guide + All Chests (Spiritfarer)

Old-Central District is an island found in the middle part of Spiritfarer’s Oxbury region. It requires the Rock Destroyer boat improvement to reach, and this island also contains several rare chests.

How To Unlock

Since the Oxbury Region is lined with a rock barrier, you will need to purchase the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement from Albert’s Shipyard (X: 61, Y: 64) to unlock this area.

The improvement requires these materials:

• 10 Aluminum Ingots
• 8 Marbles
• 6 Fireglows
• 2 Spirit Flowers
• 1,700 Glims

Old-Central District Chests

While this island has no resources, Old-Central District is filled with very tall buildings that you can get inside and climb to reach some rare chests.

Here’s where to find all of them:

Chest #1

Contains:

• Crystal Chandelier

Step 1: Starting from the docks, head left.

Step 2: Look for a large orange building and go inside.

Step 3: Climb up the ladders that are visible through the windows to reach the top floor.

Step 4: The treasure chest is on the very top floor, located in the top-left corner of the building. It should be visible through the window.

Chest #2

Contains:

• 1 Proof of Purchase: Cow
• French Fries Recipe

Step 1: From the starting point on the island, head to the far left and bounce on the dumpster near an orange spirit.

Use this dumpster to reach the air conditioner on the building on your right.

Step 2: Glide up from the air conditioner, then glide down to the right to reach the platform with the white door.

Step 3: Enter the door, go two floors up using the ladder, and then go out the next white door you see.

Step 4: From here, double jump and float to the left to reach another air conditioner.

Step 5: Use this air conditioner to glide up and reach the building roof.

Step 6: From the roof of this building, go right and jump from the roof towards the orange bouncy window canopy on the next building.

Step 7: Use the bouncy window awning to go up and reach the next window awning on the right.

Step 8: From that awning, bounce again to reach the last window awning on your left. From there you can then bounce to reach the building roof.

Step 9: From the building roof, jump left and glide down to reach the roof of one more building – this is where the treasure chest is.

Chest #3

Contains:

• 1 Proof of Purchase: Cow
• French Fries Recipe

Step 1: Head back to the same dumpster you used to reach the previous chest (just go left from your starting point on the island until you see a dumpster).

Then bounce on the dumpster to reach the air conditioner updraft on your right.

Step 2: From the updraft, glide towards the platform with the white door.

Step 3: From that platform, run right and dash towards the air – then glide to slow yourself down as you head right.

Step 4: While gliding, land on a small window platform on the next building and you should see the treasure chest.

Chest #4

Contains:

• 1 Mint Collectible Card
• Maple Salmon Recipe

Step 1: Drop down to the ground in front of the same building from chest #3 above (if you’re not sure how to get here just follow the Chest #3 directions above & drop to the ground at that building).

Step 2: Enter the front door and you’ll find the next treasure chest on the very right side of the ground floor of this building’s interior.

Chest #5

Contains:

• 1 Amethyst
• Cornbread Recipe

Step 1: Inside the same building that has Chest #4, use the ladders that are visible through the windows to climb up.

If you’re not sure where this building is then just follow the steps from Chest #3 or Chest #4, since they both bring you to the same location.

Step 2: Keep climbing until you reach the very top floor. It can help to climb during the day since the ladders are more visible.

Step 3: The chest is at the very top-left corner of the top floor.

Chest #6

Contains:

• 1 Large Glim Bottle
• 2 Wheat Seeds

Step 1: From Chest #5, exit the white door to reach the roof of the building.

Step 2: Then jump right and drop down/glide towards the roof of the next building on your right.

Note that the building you’re dropping onto is significantly shorter than the one you jumped off of.

Step 3: The last treasure chest is directly on the roof you’re dropping onto.
