Southpoint Docks is the first island you’ll encounter in Spiritfarer’s Oxbury Region after breaking through the rock barrier. It’s also the island where you can find the spirit duo Bruce & Mickey.

How To Unlock

To unlock access to this island, start by heading towards Albert’s Shipyard (X: 61, Y: 64) to purchase the Rock Destroyer Upgrade. You can find it under the Boat Improvements section, and it requires these materials:

  • 10 Aluminum Ingots
  • 8 Marbles
  • 6 Fireglows
  • 2 Spirit Flowers
  • 1,700 Glims

Getting the upgrade then helps your ship break through the rock barrier to reach Southpoint Docks.

What To Find

Immediately after arriving at Southpoint Docks and climbing the first ladder, you’ll find a short red spirit with the silhouette of a bull. This is the spirit duo Bruce & Mickey, and they will ask you to “bully” a spirit for them.

In reality, all you need to do is talk to the next spirit you’ll see, and the duo will immediately join your ship after getting back to them.

Aside from the spirit duo, you will also find a number of resources on the island for farming. These are scattered all over the many platforms of the island. These resources include:

  • Gold nodes
  • Iron nodes
  • Zinc nodes
  • Coal
  • Marble nodes

Southpoint Docks Chests

There are a few chests here for you to discover as well. Here’s how to get all of them:

Chest #1

Contains:

  • 1 Diamond
  • 1 Opal

Step 1: From the island’s starting point, head right until you find an elevator.

Ride the elevator all the way up to the top. / Spiritfarer

Step 2: Next, ride your elevator all the way up to the top.

Step 3: Once you’re at the top platform, head left and use your double jump to reach the small platform with the box and yellow shade canopy.

Step 4: Bounce on the canopy until you reach maximum height, then glide all the way right to reach the top of the crane. The chest is directly at the top.

Chest #2

Contains:

  • Sheep Corral Improvement Blueprint
Drop down to the next platform to find the next chest. / Spiritfarer

From the first chest on the crane, just drop down to the immediate platform on your right to find this next chest.

Chest #3

Contains:

  • 1 Diamond
  • 1 Opal

Step 1: From the island’s starting point, climb up the ladder and head towards the first dumpster you see.

Step 2: Bounce on top of the dumpster until you reach the platform above.

Step 3: From there, head right and climb the ladder with the zinc ore node above.

Step 4: Go to the left end of the platform, dash, and then glide towards another platform with a spirit on it.

Step 5: Climb up the ladder on this next platform to reach the chest above.

Additionally, this is also a good place to mine some gold ore early in the game.
