Silver ore is a mineable metal in Spiritfarer that can only be acquired by playing the silver dragon minigame event. Once mined, you can take silver ore in the foundry to make silver ingots. Then those silver ingots can be used to make 3 building improvements.

How To Get Silver Ore

Nodes on the silver dragon’s back only require one charged hit.

As mentioned above, silver ore is acquired by playing the silver dragon minigame event, which is initially introduced to you via the spirit Summer.

Once unlocked, the event can be found at X: 188, Y: -44, in the Oxbury region. This means that in order to reach this event, you need the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement.

The minigame will require you to platform on the back of the dragon / Spiritfarer

As soon as the minigame starts, you will need to platform on the dragon’s back and mine the silver ore nodes you find by holding the interact button.

Do note that these nodes only take one charged-up hit from the pickaxe that Stella uses. Having the dash and double jump abilities will also significantly help you with this event.

The event can be played as many times as you want, given that the silver dragon logo is present on the World Map.

How To Grow Silver Ore

After you get some silver ore, you can also easily improve your supply by planting them on any of the Turtle Sisters. Once unlocked, these giant turtles allow you to plant any kind of ore on their backs for future mining.

Here are the locations of all three Turtle Sisters:

  • Olga (X: 81, Y: 28)
  • Masha (X: -91, Y: 138)
  • Irina (X: 127, Y: -76)

How To Make Silver Ingots

Using the Foundry to turn silver ore into ingots.

In order to produce silver ingots, you will need the Foundry. Here’s what you’ll need to make that building:

  • 10 Coals
  • 10 Oak Planks

Once the Foundry is built, here’s how to turn your silver ore into ingots.

Step 1: Head inside and interact with the furnace in the middle to input some coal from your inventory. You can put as much coal as you want.

Step 2: Head to the left side and interact with the compartment to insert silver ore. You can input up to 50 if you wish.

Step 3: Once the items have been confirmed, the foundry minigame will start. Interact with the bellows on each side in an alternating manner to push the needle up to the required temperature. Make sure the indicator remains inside the temperature to avoid overheating, as this will restart the process.

Make sure the indicator stays in the green area while pushing the bellows one either side / Spiritfarer

Step 4: Keep using the bellows until the thermometer fills up, and the silver ingots will fall inside the basket at the right for you to collect easily.
