To unlock the Level 90 dungeon The Fell Court of Troia, you need to accept the Level 90 MSQ “In Search of Azdaja” from Varshahn in Radz-at-Han (X:4.4, Y:9.8). This MSQ is part of the patch 6.2 Main Scenario Questline for the Endwalker expansion.
In this guide we’ll cover how to unlock the dungeon, how to handle all of the boss mechanics, and we’ll provide a list of all the loot you can get along the way.
Step-by-Step Unlock Guide

- Accept the Level 90 MSQ “In Search of Azdaja” from Varshahn in Radz-at-Han (X:4.4, Y:9.8).
- Speak with Y’shtola at the Great Work in Thavnair (X:11.8, Y:21.9).
- Talk to the Veteran Radiant in Thavnair (X:16.1, Y:33.5) to enter Weaver’s Warding.
- Speak with Varshahn at Weaver’s Warding (X:13.1, Y:9.6).
Detailed Unlocking Guide
The Fell Court of Troia is one of the expert-level dungeons made available in the Endwalker expansion and can only be unlocked through the Main Scenario Questline.
You’ll need to complete every MSQ leading up to Level 90 MSQ “In Search of Azdaja” from patch 6.2 of the expansion before the dungeon becomes accessible.
After you’ve unlocked it, talk to Varshahn in Radz-at-Han (X:4.4, Y:9.8) to begin.

At this point in the main story, you are searching for Azdaja of the First Brood.
Cid’s Ironworks team has finished upgrading the warding scales and Nidhana’s alchemists have created the artificial atomos needed to enter the void.
Varshahn is now eager to continue the journey to save his sister. Follow him to The Great Work in Thavnair (X:11.8, Y:21.9) and speak with Y’shtola to continue.
With all the parties involved gathered in one place, you all go over the plan once more before making the attempt.
Varshahn also receives an upgraded and more suitable vessel for the journey. After talking to your allies, enter Weaver’s Warding once more by talking to the Veteran Radiant in Thavnair (X:16.1, Y:33.5).

Once you’re inside, speak with Varshahn at (X:13.1, Y:9.6) to trigger another cutscene which will show the artificial atomos expanding the tear, allowing you to travel to the Thirteenth and unlocking The Fell Court of Troia.
This dungeon requires at least a Level 90 Disciple of War or Magic job and an average item level of 575 to enter.
Boss #1: Evil Dreamers

This fight won’t have a singular boss that you need to kill. Instead, you’ll need to round up all the “Evil Dreamer” mobs that spawn and burn them down as soon as possible.
Mechanics
- Dark Vision: Column attacks indicated by charged red orbs that apply stacking “Vulnerability Up” debuffs for 60 seconds. Each attack will spawn an additional “Evil Dreamer” afterward.
- Void Gravity: Targeted circle AoEs on all players. Spread out to avoid overlapping damage.
- Unite Mare: Large point-blank AoEs that will cover the entire room while “Dark Vision” column attacks are charged on the side. Kill a dreamer to create a safe space while making sure you don’t get hit by “Dark Vision.”
- Endless Nightmare: A large “Evil Dreamer” will slowly cast a room-wide ultimate AoE attack that will wipe the party should it go off. Kill the dreamer as soon as possible.
During this mechanic, additional dreamers will float to one another and spawn an AoE that will expand once the dreamers congregate. Move away from the tethered dreamers to avoid getting hit.

Boss #2: Beatrice

Most of the boss’ attacks apply stacking “Vulnerability Up” debuffs for 60 seconds.
Mechanics
- Eye of Troia: A room-wide AoE attack followed by shrinking look-away circles which apply dispellable “Doom” debuffs for 15 seconds. Heal through the initial AoE, then look away from the boss once the circles reach her.
- Beatific Scorn: The boss will etch markings on the ground four consecutive times before they explode into overlapping circle AoEs in the order they appeared. Move to the last marking that appeared and wait for the first one to explode before moving into the safe zone.
- Hush: A red tankbuster marker on the primary target. Use your mitigation skills and heal through the damage.
- Voidshaker: A 120-degree frontal cone AoE.
- Void Nail: Targeted circle AoEs on all players. Spread out to avoid overlap.
- Toric Void: A room-wide donut AoE that overlaps with “Eye of Troia.”
- Antipressure: A stack marker on a random player. Stand with the affected player to share incoming damage.

Boss #3: Scarmiglione

Most of the boss’ attacks apply stacking “Vulnerability Up” debuffs for 60 seconds.
Mechanics
Phase 1: Rotten Rampage and Blighted Attacks
- Cursed Echo: A room-wide AoE attack that applies a 12-second “Bleeding” DoT.
- Rotten Rampage: Ground AoEs that apply stacking “Brain Rot” debuffs for 10 seconds followed by targeted circle AoEs on all players. If you get three stacks of “Brain Rot,” you’ll receive a “Zombification” status that lasts for 15 seconds, causing you to lose control of your character.
Both sets of AoEs can also destroy the outer walls, so drop your circle AoEs away from them. These walls will protect you from the next mechanic since “Rotten Rampage” also turns the outer ring into a danger zone that applies a constant “Toxicosis” DoT to anyone that touches it. - Blighted Bedevilment: A room-wide knockback attack. Position yourselves to be knocked into a wall. Knockback-immunity skills do not work for this mechanic.
- Blighted Bladework: The boss will point its sword onto the ground for a massive circle AoE. Run behind it to avoid.
- Blighted Sweep: Immediately after “Blighted Bladework,” the boss will turn around and use a 180-degree AoE. Run behind it once more to avoid.
- Firedamp: A red circle tankbuster marker on the primary target. Move away from the rest of the group and heal through the damage.
Phase 2: Creeping Decay and Nox
After killing the boss’ minions and surviving “Corruptor’s Pitch,” the fight will resume from Phase 1 until the boss is killed.
- Creeping Decay: The boss will become untargetable and spawn multiple “Necroserf” mobs while it charges its room-wide ultimate AoE attack. Kill its minions before the “Scarmiglione’s Power” gauge reaches 100, or you will wipe.
- Nox: Overlapping circle AoEs will spawn either on the outer ring or in the center.
- Void Gravity: Targeted circle AoEs on all players.
- Void Vortex: Stack marker on a random player.
- Corruptor’s Pitch: An 8-hit, room-wide ultimate AoE attack that deals damage based on the “Scarmiglione’s Power” gauge. Kill the boss’ minions as soon as possible and heal through the damage.
