All Sea Mauville Keys + Storage Key (Pokémon ORAS)

The room with the Storage Key

The Storage Key is a key item used to open a locked room within Sea Mauville. This room contains numerous valuable items, including TM13 Ice Beam and the Beedrillite.

But getting this key is essentially its own sidequest in the game. To get the Storage Key you need to collect a series of other keys, each unlocking a room that contains the next key.

The order of keys to get is listed below:

Order Key Location
1 Key to Room 1 Northeast corridor, from a Tuber NPC
2 Key to Room 2 Room 1, inside the locker
3 Key to Room 6 Room 2, from one of the Teammates NPCs
4 Key to Room 4 Outside the ship, from a Fisherman NPC
5 Storage Key Room 4, next to the bed

Prerequisites

You can access Sea Mauville when you first have Surf, but you won’t be able to fully explore and obtain the Storage Key without Dive. To obtain all the room keys and the Storage Key, you’ll need:

  • The seventh Gym Badge from Mossdeep City to use Dive outside of combat
  • A Pokémon that knows HM03 Surf
  • A Pokémon that knows HM07 Dive

If you’re ready, start by heading to Sea Mauville’s entrance:
