Bottled Ectoplasm falls under the gemstone category of materials in Spiritfarer. It’s exclusively collected from the Dust Shades event, which is introduced to you by the spirit Stanley.
How To Get Bottled Ectoplasm
Before you can get any Bottled Ectoplasms, you need to first find Stanley. Unlike other spirits, the only way to find this spirit is to fish for a mysterious seed after you’ve sent off four spirits to the Everdoor.
Once you find this seed, plant it in your garden and it will grow to be Stanley.
Then once Stanley is on the ship, he will eventually introduce you to the Dust Shades event, which is activated by interacting with his pet ghost beetle inside his playroom.
During this event you will need to run around the ship and chase the purple dust shades jumping around. The more dust shades you catch, the more bottled ectoplasm you will get, alongside Glims.
Tip: After Stanley leaves for the Everdoor, you can start this event by going inside Stanley’s playroom and checking whether the beetle is awake and flying around.
