Citrine is a type of gemstone you can find in Spiritfarer. It can be acquired from the “Elemental Transmutation” errand from Francis, from Quartz mining after getting the improved tools ability, or from a chest on Mount Toroyama.

You can then use it to finish the Summer’s “Diffracted Cabinet” request, Francis’ “Elena’s Stipulation” errand, or just sell it for extra glims.

Where To Acquire Citrine

There are three ways to acquire this gem in the game, and we’ll cover each one briefly below.

Method #1: Mount Toroyama Chest

The chest at the top of Alice’s house in Mount Toroyama contains citrine.

This is the easiest way to acquire citrine. Just make your way to Mount Toroyama at X: -99, Y: 34.

Once you’re there, go left until you find Alice’s former house. Then double jump your way up to its roof to find a treasure chest. Inside you’ll find 1 citrine.

Method #2: “Elemental Transmutation” Errand

Finishing the “elemental transmutation” errand will reward you with citrine.

Next, visit Francis’ Wandering Shop and look for the “Elemental Transmutation” errand. This requires:

4 Bright Jellies
4 Lightnings in a Bottle

Completing this errand will reward you with 1 citrine, along with some glims.

Method #3: Quartz Mining

Mining quartz with the improved tools ability gives you a chance of also getting citrine.

For the last method, you will need the Improved Tools Ability, found at the Hidden Shrine (X: 220, Y: 167).

Once you have this ability, play the Quartz Dragon Event minigame, found at these locations:

X: -24, Y: 65
X: -172, Y: 45

When mining for quartz during this event, having the improved tools ability gives you a high chance of getting citrine per node. This is the simplest repeatable way to get Citrine in the game.

Using Citrine

Once acquired, citrine can be used in these errands/quests:
