Selling cups of tea is a good way to farm glims.

This is one of the quickest ways to farm for Glims early in the game. Head over to the Raccoon Inc. shop at Hikarishima Lighthouse (X: -137, Y: -14). Once you’re there, purchase as many tea seeds as you want, at 150 glims each.

Then simply plant them in your field, with each seed giving you 2 tea leaves. At this point, you can already sell the tea leaves back to the Raccoon Shop for 300 glims each, giving you 600 glims per each seed.

However, you can go the extra mile by taking the tea leaves to your kitchen and turning them into cups of tea, which sell for 400 glims each. This means that if you buy at least 50 tea seeds at 7,500 glims and turn them all into cups of tea, you’ll earn a total of 32,500 glims.

Then plant them in your garden and sell them back to the Raccoon Shop for 250 glims each.

This means that if you bought at least 50 seeds fr 1,759 glims each and sell them all back once grown and harvested, you’ll get a return of a whopping 10,750 glims.

Plant coals to mine for diamonds later.

This method is useful only once you have the improved tools ability. Once you have that, head over to one of the Turtle Sisters (or even all of them, if you prefer) and plant coal on all three plots of land on their back.

Once it’s time to mine the coal, you’ll get a total of 3 diamonds as well thanks to your ability.

Altogether, these diamonds can be sold for 10,500 glims. Furthermore, if you decide to do this method on all of the 3 turtle sisters, you will get a profit of 31,500 glims.

Method #4: Selling Cheese

Making cheese and selling them is a good way to farm for Glims / Spiritfarer
Making cheese and selling them is a good way to farm for Glims.

For this farming method, make sure you have a Cow Stall and Cellar.

Once you have both of these buildings, interact with your cow to get an output of 3 milk bottles.

Then simply bring these to your cellar and age all of them inside the compartment. Your cellar will turn these milk into 3 yogurt. Take these yogurts and put them back inside the cellar to make 3 pieces of cheese, which can be sold for 400 glims each.

And with the upgraded cellar this output doubles, so your 3 milk becomes 6 yogurts, which you can then turn into 12 pieces of cheese.

This will net you a 4,800 glim profit, which is pretty useful for a passive activity.

Method #5: Fishing (Cheapest Method)

Fish in this general area to get ceramic bowls and glim bottles / Spiritfarer
Fish in this general area to get ceramic bowls and glim bottles.

In case you’re very early in the game and don’t really have much in the way of glims, the best way to get glims is by fishing in the stretch of ocean that’s between Mount Toroyama and Albert’s Shipyard.

Fishing in this area nets you a high chance of finding ceramic bowls, which can be sold for 645 glims per piece. Aside from the bowls, you can also get glim bottles, which come in small, medium, and large variants.

This is the best way to farm for glims in the game without first spending your own glims.
