Cod Fish Guide + Location (Spiritfarer)

The Cod is a large-sized fish that you can catch very early in Spiritfarer.

While it can be caught in a few locations, the earliest place to catch it is around the waters of the Hummingberg region once you start the game. When cooked alongside different ingredients, you can use Cod to cook 5 fish-related recipes.

Where to Catch Cod

Cods can only be caught via the fishing minigame.

To do this, sit on the chair at the back of the ship to make Stella cast a line. Then, once you get a bite, hold the interact button to start reeling in your catch. But once the line turns red, stop reeling until it turns back to yellow to avoid snapping it.

Since this is an early-game fish, cods are aplenty and easy to catch.

Just start fishing during dawn and midnight in these locations:

• Hummingberg (X: 39, Y: 139)
• Furogawa (X: -150, Y: 67)
• Crow’s End (X: -126, Y: -51)

Once caught, you can sell the fish at Raccoon Shops for 70 Glims or use it to cook the recipes listed below.
