The Halibut is a large-sized type of fish you can get while fishing in Spiritfarer.

It can only be caught in the waters around the islands of Crow’s End and Misty Woods, both of which require the Mist Cleaner 1000 Boat Improvement to reach.

Where to Catch Halibut

To start catching halibuts, sit at the back of your ship and Stella will automatically cast a line into the water.

Once you see the bobber move, that indicates a bite from a fish, and you will need to hold the interact button to reel it in. While doing so, pause whenever you see the line turn red as that means the line is about to snap.

But Halibuts can only be caught when the weather is clear in the waters around these islands:

  • Crow’s End (X: -126, Y: -51)
  • Misty Woods (X: 148, Y: 152)

It’s important to note that before you can reach these islands, you will first need the Mist Cleaner 1000 Boat Improvement from Albert’s Shipyard.

Once you have caught some halibut, you can either sell it to Theodore’s Raccoon Shop for 80 Glims or you can cook in the kitchen with different ingredients.
