The Sole is a flat medium-sized fish that you can catch in Spiritfarer. It can be caught in a few locations, but the earliest place to catch it is in Hummingberg.

Combined with different ingredients, the Sole can be used to make 5 fish-related recipes in the kitchen.

Where to Catch Soles

Like all other fish in Spiritfarer, soles are caught via the fishing minigame. Here’s how it works:

Sit at the back of your ship and cast a line in the water. Once you get a bite, hold the interact button to start reeling in, making sure to let go momentarily once the line turns red to stop it from snapping.

Fortunately, soles are very easy to find and catch.

You can catch this fish during midnight and dawn in the waters around these islands:

  • Hummingberg (X: 39, Y: 139)
  • Furogawa (X: -150, Y: 67)
  • Crow’s End (X: -126, Y: -51)

Once caught, you can either use the fish as an ingredient in different dishes, or sell them at any Raccoon Shop location for 50 Glims apiece.
