The High-Wire Act Shenanigan Guide (Spiritfarer)

“The High-Wire Act” is a shenanigan side-quest that you can finish in under 5 minutes. It’s one of the newer shenanigans added to the game, and you can start it by speaking to a spirit in Overbrook.

Starting the Shenanigan

Since this shenanigan can be found in the island of Overbrook (X: 212, Y: 56), you will need the Mist Cleaner 1000 Boat Improvement from Albert’s Shipyard (X: 61, Y: 64).

The upgrade requires:

8 Silver Ores
22 Silk Fabrics
8 Bottled Ectoplasms
6 Crystal Glass Sheets
3 Spirit Flowers
3,000 Glims

After getting the upgrade, go to the island and head left once you arrive.

Once on the island, head left past the hospital to find a dumpster bin you can bounce on.

Go past the large hospital building until you find a dumpster bin. Then use this dumpster bin to bounce left and reach a small cliffside with a treasure chest and one tall spirit.

This is the spirit that will start the side-quest.

You’ll find a lone, tall spirit at the top.

“The High-Wire Act” Walkthrough

Linen fiber is made by weaving linen thread in the Loom.

Talk to the tall spirit and he will tell you that he’s tired of being in the hospital constantly and wants to escape.

He will then ask for 5 pieces of linen fabric.

To make the linen fabric, simply plant some linen seeds in the Field on your boat. You can purchase linen seeds from the Raccoon Shops in Hummingberg and Furogawa.

Then you’ll be able to harvest them as linen fiber – but we need to turn that into fabric.

Once you have the materials, hand it to the spirit to end the request.

To do so, put the linen fiber into the Loom to make linen thread.

Then put the linen thread into the Loom again to get linen fabric.

Once you have the 5 materials, simply talk to the spirit again. The shenanigan request will end once he takes the linen fabric from you.
