The Nebula is a type of cloth material in Spiritfarer. Nebula Fibres are exclusively acquired from the Nebula Pillbugs event, and they can be woven into Nebula Thread and Nebula Fabric via the Loom.

All in all, nebula materials can be used to craft 2 buildings and 2 construction improvements on your ship.

Where To Get Nebula Fibre

Collecting nebula fibre from the pillbug event.

Nebula fibre is exclusively acquired from the nebula pillbug event, introduced to you by the spirit Alice.

Once she’s on the ship, Alice will introduce the nebula pillbug event to you, which is indicated by the pillbug logo on the World Map.

During the minigame, you will need to run around the ship and chase after the baby pillbugs. You can only collect one pillbug at a time, and each one you return will give you both Glims and Nebula Fibre.

How To Make Nebula Thread

Making nebula thread in the Loom.

Once you have some nebula fibre, head inside your Loom and put them into the machine. You have the option of adding up to 50 nebula fibres if you have that much.

After confirming, Stella’s everlight will become a weaving tool, and you’ll need to hold it until it’s aligned with the machine’s indicator before letting go.

The more aligned you get with the indicator, the more nebula thread will come out. The minimum output during this minigame is 1 nebula thread, while the maximum output is 3.

How To Make Nebula Fabric

You can turn your nebula thread into nebula fabric. This requires the Loom improvement, which is detailed in our complete Loom guide.

After upgrading the Loom, put some nebula thread inside the machine and play the same weaving minigame.

Just like before, the minimum output per 1 nebula thread is 1 nebula fabric, and the maximum output is 3 nebula fabrics.
